This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer to gain commercial experience as part of a large development team in the mobile media arena. This role will suit someone that is highly motivated and can display a portfolio of apps currently live in the iTunes library. The candidate should be passionate about iOS Development and keen to push the boundary's of mobile development.

Job Summary

• Excellent understanding of the full iOS app development life cycle
• 2 years (or more) of Objective-C programming language experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Xcode, Instruments, Interface Builder
• Experience in XML and JSON based application development.
• Knowledge of Core Location, UI Kit, Map Kit, Security, Core Data, Core Graphics, Core Animation.

Description

The UI Designer will take the lead in creating mobile interfaces, and will specialise in UI/UX. The role also involves designing and prototyping for new and existing mobile applications. The successful User Interface Designer will be creating and validating user interfaces and experiences for multiple mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Blackberry, Symbian, Bada, Windows Phone7), while also supporting development by mapping workflows, user paths and wireframes.

The successful candidate will need proven experience in UI Design and a portfolio to showcase this, you must also have significant experience and expert skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks. Strong intuition for effective user interfaces, focussing on uncluttered designs, and smart navigation.

As UI designer you'll be concepting and wireframing solutions as well as designing them - working across the whole spectrum of the creative process.

Job Summary
